Class - 9 Assembly - Theme: Turn Problem into Opportunities - Venue: AV Room, SSRVM, Indore. - Date: 05/07/2025 - Time: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM The Class 9 Assembly was conducted with full enthusiasm and wholehearted participation from all the students of Class 9 on the thought-provoking theme "Turn Problem into Opportunities." The assembly was a perfect blend of creativity, learning, and life lessons, aiming to inspire students to view challenges as stepping stones to success. The event unfolded in the following sequence:

1. Omkar Chanting: The assembly began with peaceful Omkar chanting, creating a calm and focused atmosphere, helping everyone connect inwardly before the program began.
2. Welcome Song: After the school prayer, students presented a soulful welcome song dedicated to Maa Saraswati, invoking the goddess of wisdom and knowledge to bless the event with success and understanding.
3. Inspirational Skit – "The Pressure that Transforms": A thought-provoking skit was performed in which a mother explains to her children how different items like a potato, egg, and coffee beans react under heat and pressure. While the potato softens, the egg hardens, and coffee changes the water itself. This beautifully symbolized that every problem or challenge comes with the opportunity to transform, grow stronger, and influence our surroundings positively.
4. Talk Show – Meeting the Legends: In a creative twist, a talk show was staged where famous personalities from the past were welcomed into the future to guide the new generation. Lata Mangeshkar spoke about how the loss of her father at a young age became a turning point, leading her to music. Kalpana Chawla inspired all by sharing her journey from a small town to space, overcoming societal barriers.Thomas Edison humorously shared how his failures were steps toward his groundbreaking inventions. Through these examples, students conveyed how difficulties can be transformed into great achievements with determination and passion.
5. Skit – The Sound of Music (From Beehive English Textbook): Another impactful performance was based on the chapter "The Sound of Music," where students portrayed the character of Evelyn Glennie, named Veena in the skit. Despite her hearing impairment, Evelyn didn’t give up and went on to become a world-renowned musician. The students brilliantly showcased her journey of acceptance, perseverance, and ultimate success, leaving the audience inspired.
6. Short Movie – "Against All Odds": A short movie, recorded and edited entirely by the students, showcased the story of a disabled person who lost his hands in an accident but never gave up on his dream of becoming a cricketer. The video highlighted how passion, willpower, and confidence can defy all limitations. This also reflected the technofriendly and creative side of the students, as they handled filming, editing, and direction on their own.
7. Vote of Thanks: A warm and heartfelt vote of thanks was presented by the students, expressing gratitude towards the teachers, parents, and school management for their support and encouragement in making the assembly a grand success.
8. Principal Ma’am’s Address: The program concluded with an encouraging speech by Principal Ma’am, who appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers. She highlighted how such assemblies contribute to the holistic development of students—helping them build confidence, creativity, and character.
